Searching the International Student Support Portal for solutions will be the easiest way for you to find the function you need in Terra Dotta.

Here we will walk through how to submit a CPT application as an example.

After logging into Terra Dotta, select the 'Home' icon in the top left corner and then choose 'Site Home'.

Navigate to 'Practical Training,' then select 'Curricular Practical Training':

Read the Curricular Practical Training (CPT) information and then select 'Request':

Select the appropriate option and then choose 'Apply':

First, upload your documents including the CPT Form and employment offer letter:

Next review the CPT policy.  When you have finished reading the policy, choose 'Mark as Read'.  Once you have marked the CPT Policy as read, the 'Completed' box will be checked:

Now select the 'CPT Employment Information':

When you have finished, click the 'Submit' button. You can 'Save' your work as often as you like, but the form will not be complete until you click 'Submit':

Once you have submitted the 'Questionnaire' you will need to click the final 'Submit' button located at the top of the page:

Once submitted, a DSO within the International Student Office will review your request(s) in the order they were received and will email you with updates.

Terra Dotta does not send confirmation emails after a request is submitted; however, when you successfully complete the request you should see some text in a green box saying "Your request has been acknowledged and will be processed in the order in which it was received" with the date and time the request was received.  That is how you know the request has reached the ISO.
